KSP Consultancy LLP was founded in 1976 as King Sumners & Partners and underwent a minor name change in 1985 to King Sumners Partnership. At this time the Practice operated from offices in Portsmouth, Salisbury and Winchester. In 1991 a new head office was opened in Fareham, while the Practice retained a satellite office in Winchester. KSP relocated to new premises in Segensworth, near Fareham in 2009. For 40 years the Practice has provided consultant services to many varied clients from a wide range of sectors.

John has extensive pre and post contract experience as a Quantity Surveyor working on housing, religious, educational, leisure, commercial and retail projects.
John provides Consultant Quantity Surveying, Employer’s Agent, Project Management and CDM Co-ordinator/CDM Principal Designer Services to a variety of Clients on both new build and refurbishment projects.
He is involved in schemes from inception through to completion; from initial feasibility costings through to the agreement of final account.
John qualified as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor in 1992, and in 2009 became a Partner of the Practice which he joined as a Graduate Surveyor in 1987.
Ann has extensive experience as a Quantity Surveyor in private practice representing the interests of Clients in a variety of sectors.
Her primary role now is acting as Consultant Quantity Surveyor or Employer's Agent & CDM Co-ordinator/CDM Principal Designer on a wide variety of new build and refurbishment projects for various Local Authorities, Registered Social Housing Associations and private clients, in the housing, education and private sectors.
Ann generally will be involved with and remain responsible for a project from the initial brief through to project completion. Her experience has been to provide all aspects of the traditional quantity surveying service on projects which have followed various procurement routes and which range from the relatively small ‘minor works’ contract to the more complex multi-million pound new build or extension, remodelling and refurbishment project.
Ann has over thirty years experience as a Quantity Surveyor, earning her Chartered status in 1989, soon after joining King Sumners Partnership. She had more than 10 years experience acting as an Associate, and become a Partner of the Practice in 2009.
With over 30 years extensive experience as a Quantity Surveyor in private practice Paul represented the interests of Clients working on housing, commercial, religious, educational, retail and industrial projects and projects of a special historic interest including Scheduled Monuments.
Paul now primarily provides Project Management, Consultant Quantity Surveying, Employers Agent, CDM Co-ordinator/CDM Principal Designer and Party Wall Surveyor Services for various Clients across the South of the UK on a wide variety of demolition, rebuilding, new build, repair and refurbishment schemes in the private and public sectors.
Paul's academic qualifications comprise an ordinary National Diploma in Building and a BSc (Honours) Degree in Quantity Surveying. Paul gained his Chartered status in 1988 after three years as a trainee surveyor at King Sumners Partnership. With more than 10 years as an associate, Paul became a Partner of the Practice in 2009.
Having achieved Chartered status in 1969 and, having gained a very extensive range of experience in all aspects of Quantity Surveying in the Private and Public Sectors, Tony founded King Sumners & Partners with Leslie King in 1976.
The Practice name changed in 1985 to King Sumners Partnership and Tony became a Fellow of the RICS in 1986.
Tony has attained a vast knowledge of the construction industry in all sectors working as a Consultant Quantity Surveyor, Project Manager, Employers Agent, CDM Co-ordinator/CDM Principal Designer and Party Wall Surveyor.
He was elected Chairman of the Wessex Branch of the RICS in 1989.
Tony stepped down as the Senior Partner in 2009, but continues to support and act for the Practice as a Consultant.
